serious question

memo - 6-27-2008 at 09:11 AM

I was in Ensenada yesterday and piled in a window of a rather large and prosperous looking gift shop on Mateo Lopez was what looked like plastic turds. I have a need for such a product but would only buy same if made in Mexico. I was understandably reluctant to enter the store and question the proprietor or even worse pick one up and turn it over to find a label. Does anyone here know the product and it's country of origin?

And what's wrong with American turds:?::biggrin:

Have your family save theirs, let them dry (or put on barbecue to speed up process ) and preserve in Verathene.

I thought about the Verathane route but my wife doesn't want me to handle anything that toxic. I think the proprietor is very clever because it is a product that is most likely not available on the cruise ships or at Wal Mart or Costco. In fact, if the company is public I may look into picking up a few shares of stock. But again, only if made in Mexico.

These are not only made in Mexico, they are truly made in Mexico. They're real turds with a resin coating. The shop is around the back of the store and a half dozen plastic buckets are lined up along the wall. On weekdays, no work on weekends, six very full men go to work over the buckets and then deliver their product to a surfboard shop around the corner where the junk is dipped in resin and set out to harden.
If you noticed the sign over the entrance to the store, you noticed the name of the business as Ensenada Turderia....Est 1962. It's an old established business on Lopez Mateos.

Is that the one next to the Ensenada Pedoria?

Do they come in solos only or can you get clusters?

I'm thinking about Christmas.

Thanks

The six men in the production department are on varied diets. There's a range of styles available.

Thanks guys, very funny, sick, but funny.

After coming from the global warming thread and our impending watery death, I'm in a good mood again.

You don't need no stinkin' commercial urdtays! Just travel south to Bahia Conception and look at Pampano's home made production: He lets the neighbor's dogs produce them naturally, without pay I presume, and then Pampano lets them dry in the sun, right there on his beach. Then he breaks out the clubs and works on his chip shots, (Fore!) right back onto the neighbor's green, er........sandbox.

I did a search for the photo but couldn't find it.

Pampano, have you archived your game? :?::lol:

I have to say, this is the crappiest thread I've ever seen.

.................a serious answer to a serious question:!:

I'm sure this group could find fault with this statement but I think it is backed up (or out) by solid evidence. So..........I must agree! :smug:
