Border Blockade, the answer to all problems

Oso - 7-4-2008 at 09:43 AM

Although it will not affect this holiday weekend, a group of protestors in San Luis Rio Colorado, led by Diputada federal Lolita de Mendez, plan to block the San Luis garita beginning 11 AM next Wednesday, July 9th, for an "indefinite" time.

The issue at hand: The high cost of electricity in the summer.

Lolita, accompanied by leaders of the Frente Civico Sanluisino also announced plans for a September 1, 2008, hunger strike in protest of, well....hunger.

Oh, that makes sense. Electricity is expensive, so let's block the border crossing and stop eating until it comes back down?

What am I missing here?
