A barrel of crude oil is 42 gallons. You've got heavy crude, lots of wax. You've
got sweet crude, less sulfur. It all boils down to about 20 gallons of
gasoline/barrel, 7 gallons of diesel/barrel, 5.5 gallons of jet fuel/barrel, the rest is lube oil, asphalt, fuel oil, coke, etc. And it's all going to the highest bidder. |
