is ensenada, maneadero and punta banda in the tourist zone? does that mean that an fmt is not required?
what dictates the need for an fmt? the length of time in the tourist zone or being south of the tourist zone?
i'll be in that area for 2 months and am not sure about this. does anyone know?
thanks for your information.

Anystay over a week and I am sure you will need an FMT .
Also your Mexican auto insurance (if you have to use it) will have been issued to someone in the country legally.
Have a great visit, although with that much time you should check out Baja California Sur ...

Anything over 72 hours requires a FMT. Up to 7 days free beyond that there is about a $20 charge.
