Faces tell the story

DianaT - 7-13-2008 at 12:19 PM

Well, today I am using my own computer and wireless---amazing how different things look on different monitors. I have no idea how this wil come out, but here goes.

I love faces----they tell the story. I hope more people will post more photos of faces from Baja.

Preparing for a race

After the race in 100 degree weather

Being 13

Race face

Personal statement

Hot and tired

More interested in food

Happy Mom

Getting ready

Advice from Mom

Maybe next year

Proud Dad

And Alejandra--worth another pix

Now to see more Baja faces from others, I hope

Diane

if digital photography is your goal, you should calibrate your monitor. the calibration kits run $100 to $200, but are worth it if you want to adjust colors of your photographs. if interested, and willing to spend $150, get spyder by colorvision.

THANKS----will it work not only with my desktop at home, but will it work for a laptop? Still low on the computer learning curve and appreciate the advice.

Great pictures.

I thought I recognized Lance Armstrong in that group, Diane.

Check to see you have Adobe Gamma installed on your computer and use it to calibrate. The internet cafe probably had a low quality CRT that's no longer accurately showing the range of tones. If the screen looked like it had a yellowish tint then it was way past it's prime.

Comitan...does this make up for it?

The town cop in San Nicolas lacks a certain allure that I find in the young horsewoman. Marilinda does have a good heart!

Thanks all!

Ralph, man do I miss those kids, Deborah's playmates. What a pleasure they all are, so much joy in that entire family.

Really anxious to get on the road..waiting on the right leg to ease up. These photos are a good aid to the healing process! How lucky some of us are to share a part of our lives with some of these very special families.

Thanks for the comments and tips.

And THANKS for the addition of more faces---they are great.

Hope to see more faces of Baja added,

But please, no drug dealers, murderers, or other criminals---:no:just the faces that represent the overwhelming majority of the people of Baja.:yes:

Opps, FDT´s was not a face, but it sent a very positive message.
