just got my ATT bill and while in baja last month i made a call from el rosario. the bill says i was roaming in la paz, mx. there is another call
while i was in ensenada that is listed as such.
anybody have any idea why el rosario is considered la paz? the charges are the same so it doesn't really matter in that respect, i just thought it was
strange...

by chance did you have your phone on? Moviestar will send text messages as you pass through certain areas and you will be charged....at least that's
the case for me. I keep my phone turned off unless I am making a call. Not sure about the La Paz part of the question.

the cell tower that caught the call you made is probably listed as La Paz...which seems odd since you were still in BCN, but it's what ever tower
catches the signal.

i was at the baja cactus so i'd assume the cell tower atop the hill grabbed the signal....
i could always spend 20-30minutes with att but i thought i'd throw it out here instead.
