Express Jet is going out of business in September. Too bad as we loved the inexpensive, non-stop service to Spokane.

ExpressJet is back up, Aerocalifornia still owes 26mil (US). Not likely they'll survive. Volaris has acquired the TIJ-LAP route effective 8/1/08.

Fantastic .... Volaris is a really good airline with brand new equipment .... hope they survive.

We have been looking forward to their moving into the La Paz market ....

For Todos Santos residents, LAP is an easier drive than SJD to catch a plane.

Looks like the sqeeze is on:

Avolar and Nova Air were suspended by SCT yesterday, also for non-payment of air space fees.

Looks like Carlos Slim's baby, Volaris will be one of the few low-cost airlines standing.
