Welcome to Nomad!

Please refer to my web site and specially to my 'Self Guided Tours' page (both linked below each of my posts here on Nomad) to help you select places that look interesting to visit/ explore.

Please ask for any details here or u2u or email... Other Nomads will be happy to add their opinions or ideas on places...

To help us understand what kind of BAJA adventure you seek, tell us what you will drive (4WD?), how you want to overnight (camping, cabins, motel), what do you want to do: swimming, surfing, fishing, kayaking, off roading, photography (all of Baja is great for that), old mission sites, old mine sites, Indian rock art sites, Mexican villages/ shopping, etc.

Hope you have a great trip... and Shari will show you a great time in Bahia Asuncion, too!

Thanks for the nice welcome
As far as what kind of baja experience I enjoy Camping at conception bay is allways nice.
We have been to Mulege 3 times and enjoyed each trip.
last time we came up from Puertocitas and stayed at Alphonsinas then had a couple of beers with coco.
Our goal is to find a place where we can spend at least part of the year there returning here in the summer.
As I have been self employed for the last 20 some years I havent really had much time to do anything. So now I plan on relaxing and going slow.
My goal this trip is to learn to fish and hopefully catch a yellowtail and dorodo. And of course to meet some nomads.
Once again thanks for the welcome

Then Shari's husband, Juan is the man to show you how to catch some fish!

Bahia de los Angeles is a fisherman's paradise as well... and is a beautiful/ intersting place with lots of good food and supplies available.

Welcome to Nomad land dao45. Sounds like you are going to fit right in here. I like your style and look forward to you posting some trip reports now and then. And yes, Shari's husband, Juan, is THE fisherman to learn from. He also cooks up a mean lobster dinner, wow!
