I am wondeing about driving to San Nicolas between Mulege and Loreto from San Diego after Julio.
I figure Mex 1 is o.k. to Santa Rosalia, but am getting mixed info for south of Santa Roaslia.
I am driving an F250 chassis mount camper.
I would appreciate any information and road reports.
Thanks.

Have you ever driven that road ?
There are so many very steep vados and other steep sections that I would have to bet it is a mess after a large rain.
It took me almost 3 hours to drive on a dry day in my F350 with no camper.
And there are NOT a lot of places to turn around in many sections of the road.
If you can't get any recent info, plan to ask at the raod intersection before you head out.

Aha, I know John and Krystal and met a former tomato farmer there this past February (very nice man but can't remember his name).
And I met the funny druggie local "I am friend to all americans - do you like marywanna ?"
Boy, I bet there is some mud and some HUGE skeeters there now !

How long have you lived in San Nicolas?
Where do you have your Casa?
I too have lived at San Nicolas. Pappa Murillo built me a Palappa very near to the Well. Knew Terry and Chewy when Chewy was thirteen Years old.
Hope you take care of Alfredo and all the good folks.
Keep asking about the road and you will find out sooner or later. I will be in Loreto the first week of October but that is a Month away.
Keep in contact.
