1988 FJ62 203,000 MILES 6CYL 4X4
I have bought a new truck so its time to reitre this one. I have owned this one for about 6 years and put a ton of $$ into it in replacement parts. All parts are toyota and all work was done by a toyota cert mechanic. I have kept it completely stock. It has a XM satellite radio that works all over baja. full roof Confer rack. It will need some rust and paint issues adressed soon if your into appearance. Newer bfg all terrains. Cat back exhaust. Thiis is probably the best off road vehicle I have owned for Baja. Will climb almost anything, great in sand and moon dust, floats across wash board. super dependable. I would like to sell to someone who will use it instead of letting my teenagers destroy it.

1991 ford f250 4x4 7.3l diesel. 5 speed manual trans. four inch rancho lift. 35" BFG AT tires . Banks intake/exhaust. 8 ft davlin cabover.
Put this truck together for when my kids were little and we needed more protection from the elements. Kids and wife are'nt going with me as much so I'm downsizing. The truck has only 139,000 original miles and runs very well. the paint is in good shape. no rust or major dents/scratches.interior is super clean. Some bandido stole my stereo, so no tunes. Manual hubs and super strong in four wheel drive. Cabover looks old on the outside but nice inside. 3 way fridge works like new. independant solar so not hooked to the truck batteries. Very comfortable for up to five people especially adults with kids. This truck is a beast and was built to take washboard and rough driving.
It handles really well. Sorry, not willing to seperate.

Surely someone wants this FJ at this price!! Seems like a steal to me, even with those miles.

If I hadnt gotten my Wrangler Unlimited a few months back, I'd be all over this rig as my around town and desert rig.

if that ford was automatic i'd be checking it out.

Hook. The fj is/was my daily driver around home and made about 4 central baja trips a year. Toyota quality speaks for itself with these cars. it would be perfect to be kept at someones baja home as a desert car.
Woody, I would'nt shy away from the stick. It's reassuring to know it can be bump started if necessary and if you get a good stuck in the sand some times being able to pop start w/ a clutch and low tire pressure does the trick when no ones there with pull strap.
Anyway I'm mainly selling these to free up some cash for my daughter whos is spending a year in Spain at school. Like I said these cars were purchased for what I like to do in Baja and i hope to sell them at reasonable price to someone who can put to good use.
