How does one go about changing name on my electric bill into my name. The manager said I have to bring my fidecomiso to the office, not a copy. I alredy sent her my passport and fm3 copy.

we just went in with a copy of our lease and FM3s...no problem but they do charge you a fee. I think it was about 40 bucks.

We just went through this in San Jose. If you own the property, you will need to take in a complete original and 1 copy of your fideicomiso and original passports. The charge is 500 pesos.

Where are you? This is starting to sound like one of those procedures that is different from city to city. I'd be reluctant to send in my passport.

I didn't send in my passport. I hand carried everything into the San Jose CFE office.
