After hearing that My place was wiped out. That only the bodega was gone, that the bodega was there but the boat was gone. Pictures arrived over the weekend.

The boat is there.

Anyone interested in a small investment in a fixer-upper with occasional creek frontage?

I think that towing the boat will not be a problem...building a road in to where its parked may be a bit more problematic.

Thanks folks for the encouragement. I think we are going to make a salvage trip as soon as possible and be through with having a "permanent" place in Baja. I was serious about passing on the still valuable remains to someone with the energy to start over. The rent is just $1300. a year. The place comes with a very knowledgable land lord.

Manuel Espino is not nearly as fearsome as it appears from the picture.

Perry, Sorry I didnīt take photos of the bathroom and washing machine room. The washing machine room is full of mud 30 inches, so it and the generator are probably shot. I still think you are better off than people like Connie and Robert who have lost everything theyīve been busy hauling down here with over 40 inches of water going through their places. At least your place was pretty sparse. Still no road or water lines. The locals are saying there are another 5 storms still coming this season, so no sense fixing anything yet. Had 3 days of rain just this week. Might be pretty trick getting into or out of San Nicolas with a trailer because of the really narrow dips, but Iīm sure you can handle it. Tell Pangamadness on bajanomad.com that Dales place and the place in front of it are still standing. Probably about 20 inches of water to maybe 40 inches went through that area. Thatīs the same for Pauncho Realīs place. Martin Espino has moved to Conasupo to his dadīs house and he and Lupe have moved there also. They are talking about moving to the top of the hill. Thatīs all. Cheri
