Three more were killed today right outside the tourist zone in Ensenada. Looks like a gang-type execution.

Chapultepec, that's an upscale part of Ensenada. :o

Chapultepec is not an upscale part of Ensenada - its a colony of Oaxacan Immigrants outside of town who are workers on the agricultural fields.

Actually there is an area up on the hill on the left just as you enter the city called Chapultepec. Very nice homes there. Either that or the folks who invited us there for dinner a few months ago don't know what their neighborhood is called???

BajaGringo,

The area where this happened is another colonia in Ensenada with the same name "Chapultepec". Where you were is Fracc. Chapultepec.

You drive through it, after you leave the main highway, to Estero Beach. About six miles south of town.

My son is going to a quinceanera tonight in Col. Chapultepec. I am going to tell him to keep his head down!
