Someone asked me in a U2U how to enter a specific lat/lon. I didn't give a complete answer. Just go to any old Wikimapia map. Change the lat/lon
data in the URL at the top of the page and hit the "refresh" tab. The map will then center at your desired, new lat/lon.
This is the power of the Internet. If we can start locating and naming some of the favorite locations on a map, a picture is worth 1000 directional
words. If you want to keep some place secret......don't put it on the map.

oxxo,
Do I understand this right? If you change the URL in the existing data, it changes in Wikimapia's site? If that's the case, what would nasty folks (
we have a world full of them ) keep from changing proper defined sites to a totally wrong one? Just curious and probably have this wrong?
