Ensenada Buffets (breakfast or otherwise)

postholedigger - 9-20-2008 at 10:40 PM

I was just looking into buffets in Ensenada be they breakfast buffets or just a regular all day buffet. I wanted to get names, locations and prices on good buffets people have been to so I know where to go when I'm in town.

Baja Mama's in Punta Banda has a good Sunday brunch buffet from 10-2. Reservations are a good idea. 154-2204

Directions:
Off the Buffadora Rd turn Right at the Agua Caliente sign. Follow the gravel road to the black top. Pass the first security booth, then the second booth turn Left to Baja Mama's.

Ocean City Buffet on the Reforma just past Costco and Comercial Mexicana on the east side of the road, same shopping center as the Super Ley. Chinese food. Haven't been there so cannot attest to it.

Pampas, Argentine food, on Blvd Costero between the Cruiseport and the Navy Base.

Baja Mama's is about $10 per person, plus any alcoholic drinks.......a benefit of Baja Mama's is that you are right on the beach!!!!!....it's a "colorful" type of place

Yes it is. And, a big extra for your dining pleasure, when you have finished your meal, any one of the dogs that wander the dining room will lick your plate clean. It's a real homey atmosphere.

and the image of Baja Mama hanging over all the food with that lit cigarette in her mouth will etch itself into your memory forever...

The Hotel Coral Sunday buffet is wonderful!! Especially if you have the INSEN (i.e. old) card, it's under $12 plus you get one drink. There's a huge variety of yummies, including crepes and FRESH juices, not to mention great Mex. foods, desserts, you can just about name it.

We would not reccomend Ocean City, food was cold and shi**y. Had some friends go at a later date and they had the same opinion.

Oh great, hookworms for dessert. That's why dogs are illegal in restaurants NOB.

Try "Bucanero's"at the corner of 6th street and Espinoza in Ensenada. Has a breakfast buffet AND an evening buffet specializing in seafood. Our first time a week ago and marked on my "Go BAck" list..
