Diesel Availability Ensenata to San Ignatio

El Norte - 9-29-2008 at 07:27 AM

What is the current situation regarding the availability of Diesel between Ensenata and San Ignatio? There have been many reports of a lack of Diesel at Jesus Maria, Guerrero Negro, and Vizcaino and of rationing at el Roserio. These reports are all now dated but I can find no advice about the situation now. While I always carry extra fuel it is difficult to deal with the long stretch reported earlier. Any advice about the situation now would be greatly appreciated! Muchas Gracias.

Ensenata, San Ignatio, el Roserio...??? ENSENADA, SAN IGNACIO, EL ROSARIO...

What is amazing is that you spelled Guerrero Negro correctly!!??!! I think that makes up for the other errors!;) It and Puertecitos are perhaps the most often mis-spelled places in Baja California!

Welcome to Nomad! Viva Baja!!;)

If you fill in El Rosario then you should be able to easily get to Guerro Negro. I would not fill in San Ignacio but would wait for the New Station in Santa Rosalia, which would be the second station on the left in town. They are very accurate there and you will get the full amount you pay for. Santa Rosalia to the new station in Constitucion and then you should be good for La Paz.
