I've always been intrigued by the waterfront palapas at Playa los Naranjos while motoring past them via boat while camping further down in Bahia de
Concepcion. What is the daily rate on camping there? What upgraded facilities do they have like enclosed palapas? Can you launch a small boat? Who
or how do I contact someone about a reservation? I coming down in 3/09 to check out the Mulege area for semi-retirement with my annual baja camping
buddies. They like camping in a tent but I prefer a bed or cot with a roof over my head. From the lastest papapa ad I saw for sale here at $25,000
this place seems to have it all.
By the way I'm not new here but was formerly "howat" but recently could not get that name to log in even after re-setting my PW twice. Maybe they
banned me without my knowledge. Hopefully they did not.
Thanks for your replies in advance. I picked the new name cuz I hoopnet for lobster 1-2 times a week here in San Diego. Had a 1970's Puerto Nuevo
style lobster dinner at my house last nite and every wednesday nite for that matter to dispose of the booty. Can only have 7 lobster in your
possession in CA at any one time.
Admin: Please move this thread to "Baja Questions & Answers". My bad.

We camped at Naranjo in one of the open style palapas and loved it...it was in april and was not at all crowded. There were mostly europeans there and
a few locals. We beached our little panga right in front of our palapa which I think was around $15 a night. They had house type rentals too with a
couple beds...pretty big and have a bathroom/shower/stove...pretty neat...I'd bring a mosquito net though for over the bed. There is also a restaurant
there too....I rather liked it...nice swimming too.

Lobsterman,
It is commendable that you revealed your past identity while assuming a new username. Many (or one?) here didn't.
If you don't get the info you want, I will be back in Mulege around the end of December. You can U2 me and I will go to Naranjos and ask around for
you.
By the way (joke coming)....I have a house along the river that you guys could buy cheap...it is more than a palapa but you could maybe get that
camper's atmosphere...possibly ROOF optional.

Thanks for the replies.
Bob & Susan definately will stop by and check your place out. Been following your threads from the beginning. You've always been quite helpful

Good luck with those storms heading your way.
