The big marina operation managers thought Norbert might bring lots of rain so they dug two huge drainage ditches from their "Big Dig" which will be
our new marina, to the sea, so the rain would not cause flooding in the work area. It must have been bad timing because the storm brought no rain, the
tides came in, the flooding took place because of the ditches. Now a nasty brown stain, uncountable tons of silt, lines the beaches here for miles --
shut down all shore fishing for days and days, changed the configuration of many of our beaches.
