My favourite place to stay has been La Playita Hotel just east of town....now, with the marina in, it is called Marina Hotel and rates have gone up...
Any suggestions for a place where a truck and motorcycle trailer would be safe...need space for 3 guys....??

You might check into Posada Real but parking the trailer may be a problem there. There is a local hotel, Carolina, right in front of Soriano that
would probably be cheap and has parking....
But it is hard to beat La Playita for ambiance. They have a restaurant there now. Still the same owners, they just changed the name.
Check your U2U for another option.
