The problem is when you read the fine print it is really $58 per room:
"Only $29 per night
*Price per person, based on a two-person standard room. Offer valid Sundays through Thursday until February 19th, 2009, except for U.S. holidays,
subject to availability. Rates plus tax. Reservations are required and no other discounts apply. Limited availability. Blackout dates apply. Advance
reservation required."Kell-Baja - 10-27-2008 at 10:17 AM
$58 still a good deal. I've always loved the Rosarito Beach Hotel.
Come on down!

You can have the whole place to yourself. Woooosh - 10-27-2008 at 10:44 AM
Even at $58 per night per room it's a deal for everyone except the poor sucker who owns the unit. The Hotel splits the revenue 50/50 with the actual
condo-hotel unit owners.
You don't get the new crap for 58 bucks

They're selling their old rooms. Read the article.
