Another option is Loreto Shores RV park.

Riveradelmar one of the nicest places we stayed on the Baja, in a city that is. Great location and a wonderful restaurant on premises. They serve a very good American type breakfast there. The grandmother makes a great chile rellano. Good fresh juice. Nice family! I miss the place. It is a great place from which to explore the wonderful little town of Loreto with it's andadores and great restaurants, not to mention the fishing, check out Flyfishing Pam if you want to wet a line!

I like Riviera, not on the water but it's a nice park.

Before you go, make sure you check to see if Loreto's main street to the malecon has been repaired. When we were there last week, the last two blocks were closed. We usually go to the malecon, turn left to the end then jog across a few streets over to the park. If the main road hasn't been fixed, get on the street to the North that parallels the main road or you'll have to turn around when you hit the road closure.

Maybe someone who knows Loreto's streets can give better directions or post if the road has been fixed. Because of the torn up main road, we had to turn our crew cab truck/camper around while pulling a trailer, at night...with lots of parked cars. Not the most fun experience, was about a 20 point turn around event.

Side note: While we jockying around, an employee from a palapa covered open air restaurant came out to help us. We decided we'd repay the favor and eat there. WoW! Food was pretty good! I don't know the name of the place, but it's on the main road about a block or so back from the Malecon, it's a big open air palapa. Apparently they just re-opened after burning down. We'll definitely go back.

Loreto trailer park/ street work

You can access the Rivera del Mar from Calle Juarez, which was totally repaved this past year. It only took them 8 months!!

The street in front of Domingo's La Palapa, was torn up by the Municipal government about 10 days ago, just in time for the Holland America Cruise Ship season. Seems like that's just the way things are done in our little town.

So the last block of Calle Salvatierra should be a mess for at least 6 months.

The Rivera del Mar trailer park has signs directing you from the main drag (Calle Salvatierra) around the traffic circle and down Calle Juarez. You'll like the place. :dudette:
