I have a friend who wants to buy a trailer and pull it down to Baja Sur and live on our lot for 6 months...basically he wants to 'check out'. I have
no idea about trailers and was wondering for those who do have an inkling if you think this is a decent price for the one described below?
He hasn't decided yet so if anyone has a trailer for sale similar to this one let me know. He would be coming from Bay Area, CA and could pick it up
anywhere on the way down.
Thanks,
pacside

that is expensive.... there are many trailers for sale in BCS ... where is he headed ?... put some ads out and save a thousand miles of driving with
one eye on the rearview mirrow... many folks have pulled trailers down that they don't want to haul back... I got a trailer in BCS for less than 1/2
what it would have cost in San Diego.. patientce pays large dividends..Bob and Susan - 10-28-2008 at 03:15 PM

Well that sounds like that would be much easier...on the driving and pocketbook. Can you let me know the brand name and year? You can U2U me if you
want. Also curious why you want to sell it....is this what you guys stayed in when you were building?
thanks,

That is extremely expensive for a Wilderness Trailer especially 2004, These trailers are basically weekenders, they are not built for the long hauling
and living, you need more the full timer trailer.
Bob and Susan has a sweet deal, jump on it.capt. mike - 10-29-2008 at 07:56 AM
Bob - i will be down next week in my friend's 210 scouting for him - he wants a trailer already there to save towing one down. we'll be at Serenidad

i will send him your email so he can contact you.Bob and Susan - 10-29-2008 at 10:39 AM

thats is alot of money for a 2004 wilderness
here is the current NADA guide
wholesale $7920.00
retail $10,500.00
also a wilderness is not top of the line trailer,, its a nice one.
I remember a trip from hell pulling a 25' terry 5th wheel down baja,, I lost every spring on the thing, If he does buy the trailer,, you need to start
of really new and top of the line tires, and take the trailer in to a shop that will beaf up the axels and springs,, I am talking fromn experience,, I
had to leave my 5th wheel in Mulege as I was not able to go any further,, I had to have a RV repair guy and crew come from yuma to get it,, and coming
back they lost about 3 springs,, but they had a crew with them and spare springscapt. mike - 10-29-2008 at 12:28 PM
naw....Bob he's just conserving fuel.

i am about ready to start the ultralight rides at Playa Frambes.
just need to drop about 100 lbs so i can get 2 on board!Bob and Susan - 10-29-2008 at 03:34 PM

I have a 27 ft copper canyon in LB, we lived in while buiding but it ain't that cheap.rhintransit - 11-5-2008 at 08:31 AM
way too expensive for such a trailer. you can get a good one down here for much less, though some people still count on the scarcity factor and try
to get more. I think in the USA that those things, especially with gas prices like they are, would be much less, at least under blue book. check
Craig's List. I saw a 26', little use and slide outs, 2006 for 5500 in Pto Chivato about three months ago.pacside - 1-2-2009 at 06:58 PM
Friend decided to not proceed with trailer purchase. Thanks for the info.
Although Bob and Susan's is a good deal from my research.

Nada Guide shows retail on the 04 Wilderness, 250RKS at $7600 to $9100. The $16,000 price looks alittle steep.pacside - 1-6-2009 at 03:02 PM
