there were some BIG dogs (4 stories) here the last couple of months...
i figured there were over at the santa barbara project
one guy has a helicopter on board
the dingy is a 40 footer for fishing that rides behind
it probably takes 12 people just to start up the thing...
mike that size would be great for a cruise...

Roger- The "PBD" people are getting active. We are being harassed by PROFEPA, the Federal environmental group, at our place. They supposedly sent us
a letter AGAIN this year as they did last year. THis year is is regarding soil samples or such. Now they say we haven't responded, so they are fining
us. We never received a letter(sent last May) nor was one posted on our door. Last year we proved our house was exempt from some tax because we
produced satellite photos of the beach indicating our house was built before 1978. All this appears to be method to rid the area of legal private
houses in anticipation of PBD.capt. mike - 11-2-2008 at 12:50 PM

Nothing to do at all with this thread, but, I was reminded of my first trip to Baja in '97 (3mons) just north of Santispac at Punta Arenas we saw a
54ft. sail boat off the beach, what a beautiful sight! We "oohed and aahed" and soon we met 4 ladies, one being the owner........as we talked we
found that the "youngin" was 64, the oldest 82, and they had had the boat shipped from New Jersey to San Fransico then the 4 of them had sailed it to
where we met...........talk about GUTS! And people think I'm weird for driving to Baja by myself!
