An informal poll:
How great an impact do you think war with Iraq will have on the economy of Baja? Tourism? Peso? Mexican perception of the U.S.?

'The War" just am opinion.
If 'It' happens - there Will be much less than now tourist traffic. EVERONE will have even less money to spread around. As the US and World
economies will be thrust even lower on the depression slide they are on. Mexico will be right along with all else. The Peso will continue it slide -
the US will be blamed. As to the Mexican perception of The US it will wither but tourist will be courted. Even though Mexico is at present reneging
on NAFTA agreements it has made. As of this time there are 100 box cars of dry edible beans waiting to enter Mexico but are being stopped because as
of this year the tariffs for importing is at an end so now the protest. This has the standard practice on two other food products that I have heard
of. So it might be advisable to wonder what the perception of Mexico will be in the future by US citizens.
