hi nomads-

normal drive down and fly back program.

here's just a few highlights

mariscos california on main road in SQ near olive stands is nice for oysters & mariscos.
its a blue stand and very consistent and yummy - nice folks too, Raul y Elisabeth.

Stayed at GN at the yellow ballena hotel near hotel el morro but off the main road...
cheap, like 300 pesos or something...free internet too...

Breaky at San Ignacio Hot Springs - the place with the yurts..Tasty food and friendly
Canadian hospitality...always a good home cooked breakfast.

Eastern Seaboard Santa Rosalia to Loreto is pretty much all fixed up including new
bridges over some arroyos that flooded or caused road drop outs after Hurricane
Juan.

Ciudad Constitution is ripping up their main road and gonna re-fab the whole main
road thru town...really messing with the town's busy working class ambiance...
dusty and nasty and empty and noisy...still got a killer torta at that one torta shop
2 blocks south of the park at the northern edge of town..

hwy 19 to todos and ellias calles is fixing up nicely...soon it will have 4 lanes across...
road construction is going fast and they are doing a pro job...the foreman of that job
should be congratulated for quick and solid work.

flew home out of La Paz - stored truck at Jim & Gloria's airport storage place near the
LAP airport...airport was drop dead empty yesterday and so easy especially compared to that mess of a scene in Cabo airport...if you have an option to travel in/out of LAP airport just do it...mellow and chlll and quiet and relaxing..

that's about it for now...

weather just changed down south...its still warm and all but bearable now...
not too bloody hot and buggy

enjoy the winter season nomads, baja awaits you, wishing you safe & happy trails
