Six killed at Tijuana bar

Six people were killed after gunmen burst into a Tijuana bar popular with university students and opened fire.

The local Public Security Secretariat says witnesses reported that three people dressed in black rushed into Bar Utopía and started shooting without saying a word.

The Baja California Attorney General´s Office says two men and a woman died instantly in Friday night´s attack. The three others died in hospitals Saturday.

The bar is located in a neighborhood with three university campuses and is popular with students. Most of the victims were under 30 years old.

Police had no suspects or motive.

A brutal war among rival traffickers that has killed more than 300 people in Tijuana since late September and left residents wary of large swaths of the city.

I have never been to that bar but I know where its located; right across the street from the UABC University in Otay.
