no, but you wont need it for Gonzaga unless you are flying down.
Friends are following and going down to Agua Verde. Guess they should go the other way?

Yes, you can get a tourist card at the main crossing Calexico-Mexicali crossing (immediately upon crossing the border, park in the temporary parking
area to the right, walk across the marked crosswalk through all the traffic coming across the border and the office that dispenses tourist cars is
right there). I would imagine their is an office at the east crossing as well.
A tourist card is required if you are driving to Gonzaga, although as a practical matter, I have never heard of anyone being asked for it.

East Port is much quicker and once you get it you head out turning east at the stop sign after leaving the Port area. You can only go East or West so
you can not get lost. Head on out and signs will direct you towards San Felipe and the rest is just rolling along. Note, it was a while back but
when I tried to get a tourist card at the old downtown port they sent me to the East Port which you turn off the Interstate 8 on to exit that say to 7
byway/highway to that takes you East Port you can not get lost and again quicker that old port in all ways getting on to your trip. I have always

I always get my tourist card at the western/downtown entrance. However; i have always got it on foot; the office is on the east side of the
road/entrance into Mexico and the bank to pay for it is on the Western side.
I can't imagine getting told to goto the east entrance.. since it is an official immigration office at the western crossing. But, hey.. it's Mexico..
Things don't always work as they should. Just ask around jump though all the right hoops and it will get done.
IMO you'd be fine at either entrance.. Just pull over to the declaration lane and tell them you need a tourist card.. They will be happy to take your

Yep, I had that same discussion but they told me East Port, so I went to the east port but after going there it was so fast and easy won't change.
Finding parking is not an issue and as fast as you can walk and fill out paper away you go. No Hurry No Worry Just Fun and that's is what I am

Does anyone know if the banks at the Mexicali crossing will be open on X-Mas morning to take money for FMTs? Thanks.
