i have always wondered......can Hummers open their beaks or are they built like a straw? and they can only feed on liquids?
Marv one of your shots seems to show its beak open? never seen one do that.

you can almost smell it, that should get you down !!!

my wife is a painter and has recently been painting 'hummers' and she loved the hummingbird photos
