4 nites for $825 in 1 BR suite w/ kitchen at Cabo Azul right now - a damn good deal considering amenities!

I thought prices would be lower considering the high vacancy rate. But, I don't know what all the amenities are so, I will take your word for it being a good deal.

we stayed there a year ago right after the 1st soft opening, and the baja 1000 just had ended.
my buddy works for the developer. the place is basically brand spanking new. the suites are very luxus. Rack rate high season was $800 a nite, $500 low season so i figure they are deeply discounting. the grounds and beach are unreal, 3 cascading negative edge pools forming the largest ever built to that date 2008.
you can be a member, off the street guest or use membership points - not a time share more a vaca ownership club where you buy points and use them at any of his resort properties in Ca, NV, Utah, old Mexico, HI etc.

for $200 a nite this place is well worth it if you ever are spending that kind of jack. and face it - most really 5 star joints are all in at $200 a nite most of the time, even hard to find a really luxus place at less than that.

go to his website it is well detailed.

Don't know where the young ones are but half the elderly populations of Oregon, Washington, British Columbia and Alberta are in Yuma, Driving 10 MPH down 4th Ave, bumping into things...

Cabo is a tourist TRAP, Capt Mikey, has been for years. Your obvious, with such hype of a once beautiful area now trashed with time shares, faux baja delights and atmosphere. I thought you were a real baja-ite! The once pristine area is all time share, and over priced food! The real tragedy is it went north to the lucky Trump smucks who lost their ass. I hope the eco-downturn will help the area return to some resemblance of what baja once was! Mikey wana buy a lot a Punta Brava?

A lot of anger here Bronco .... have you ever even been to Cabo San Lucas .... or are you just out of your mind ....

Better perhaps you should not go there .... it might spike your blood pressure :lol:

I have a great time in Cabo San Lucas, on many visits over the last twenty years ...and the only thing that really bothers me are the time share scum.

Obviously written by someone who is unfamiliar with the area. Today, two of us will eat lunch at a favorite spot for about $3 for both. Right now, I live here full time for about 20%-25% less than a comparable lifestyle in SoCal. And I don't live in a time share. BTW, what's wrong with owning a time share unit?

You mean run down campos? I like it here just fine the way it is, thank you. In my opinion, Los Cabos may have the best weather in the world, even July, August, and September. Lots of very happy residents down here, trying to figure out how to live here full time like I do, proving how wrong Bronco is.

Never heard a bad word said about Cabo or timeshare by any Mexican...last I checked this was still their country!

Woody,

We did a few window jobs for you guys a few years ago at pendelton and sub base but nothing since. I think my buddy Adam does your guys ATFP windows now. Our jobs in Yuma are w/ P. Vander Werff Const. If we're out there at the same time I'll stop by and buy you some beers after work.
