HI: I had a really good experience at the Optical center in Chapultepec. I had shopped for my Rx at the the usual COSTCO, Wal-Mart's etc., but found
this company to be a better vlaue.
They also had the best price. Delivery was about two weeks, but can be speeded up for additional dollars.
They treated me well, and courtiously which I did not find at the aforementioned esablishments. It might be advised to take a spanish speaking person
with you, if you do not speak the language, just for clarity. (They do English fairly well)
They are located off of Hwy 1, the Transpeninsular, on the main Chapultepec road, the one that goes to Estero Beach. However, you stay on it past the
"Estero" turn off and they are on the right side about 1/2 mile past it. A large White bldg. with blue trim. Can't remember the name of find the
receipt. If you see Marios restaurant on the left, you have gone too far.

if you have a prescription you can order online through various companies. I have used Zenni Optical (CA) with excellent results. my last order was
a pair of single vision glasses with cool frames...you pick from extensive selection...were 15 bucks which included S&H to my AZ address.
you will need the interpupillary distance if this is not included on your Rx. you can measure it yourself if needed.
I always get an Rx from my USA eye doctor, no trouble, I just tell him I'm going to Mexico.
