New member to nomad board, can anyone assist me on how to get a photo onto the side bar area ?

That would be an Avitar.....and you need about 25 posts. When you get your 25, go to the Control Panel in the upper right of this page. Click on
"Control Panel", then "Options", then "Edit Profile". Insert the link to your Avitar or photo then submit your link.
