Spent eight days at agua verde and planed to spend more but there were no fish to speak of. I trolled up and down the shore line for hours and caught
very little. An occasional barracuda or real small rooster, one snook and one sierra. I did catch one skipjack off shore that my dog enjoyed eating.
I trolled over some awesome looking rocks and could not believe I was not catching anything so I dove in the water to get a first hand look. The sea
floor was barren!!! Gill nets and hooka divers have taken there toll in this area. Right down to the sea cucumbers and star fish, saw very few fish
larger than the opening of a gilll net. Compaired to bola or punta chivato where the diving and fishing were great, agua verde stinks. It is still
the most picturesque shoreline to troll or dive along in the whole sea of cortez just wish there were some fish around. fishin rich

I fished AV over Christmas and had little success as well. I just figured it was due to winter. Unfortunately, it's the nets.
