IF the "tolerance" Tortillas get the same level of attention that the Milk Cartons do, don't expect any changes before the wrapper goes into the
Dumpster.
AND, what kind of shallow-thinker would have their views influenced by something they read on a wrapper ?

I don't know how many missing children are found because of milk carton ads or TV spots, but there are many that are found years after their
disappearance.
I don't have any objection to these types of "touchy-feely" promotions as long as they aren't done with taxpayer funds.

Center for Missing and Exploited Children, one in six missing children are recovered as a direct result of someone recognizing their photo and
notifying authorities."

that's 39,444 children recovered in 2 years as a result of photo recognition.
MrBill, If your child was missing, wouldn't you want every available possible resource used for your child? You sound so bitter and negative....(I'm

Also note the above statistics are just for children under 18, it does not take into account any adult stats

NO ! Nothing bitter about it. Just realistic.
As mentioned elsewhere, if it simply involves private funds, I don't care one way or the other. People have the right to spend their own money in
any legal way they see fit.
Taxpayer money, on the other hand, SHOULDN'T be spent in ways that show no probability or proof of success AND said success can be shown to improve
the general welfare.
The whole concept of "Doing whatever it takes" is nonsense that leads to all sorts of wasteful spending.
It reminds me of the debate over lowering the National Speed Limit to save lives. In that debate, it was pointed out that if those people who said
"ANYTHING that saves lives is worth doing", they would push for a 20-mph maximum speed limit strictly enforced. The reduction in traffic deaths would
be dramatic. However, our economy would come to a crippling halt.
There is a Balance Sheet on EVERYTHING.
That said, in the spirit of the season celebrating the Birth of Christ, I hope that everyone finds their missing children well and happy.

It's not just tortilla wrapping paper, there were only 2 million of those wrapers distributed within rural areas of the country. It's a nationwide
campaign that is for respect of genders, non violence of gender. Remember the macho?
School children in the first 3 grades of elementary are taking Culture and Civics classes, from then to 1st grade of secondary the class is Culture of
Legality and from second of secondary to third it's called Civic and Ethic Formation. From 1st of Preparatoria and he takes 2 of those classes, one
is calledSociety and Values and the other is Formacion ciudadana y cultura de la legalidad.
A lot of changes are going on.

I don't think the comparison of lowering the speed limit and what is printed on a label are apples-to-apples comparison. To me, 39,444 recoverd kids
in 2 years seems proof of success of the program.
