the short fin does not have the teeth from the top, my bet is orange mouth.
any orange in the boca will tell.

Corvina ... It's the most common fish I get in the sandy areas. Here's a friend with the biggest one I've seen.

I also caught that fish with the two canine teeth. It is a short fin corvina. It is different in color, all silver, than a regular corvina. This fish
is as good as it gets to eat. I caught mine by scorpion bay on a crocodile lure, chrome with blue. They must be fairly rare to catch as its the only
one i've caught in many years of shore fishing on the pacific side.
