Good massage place in Ensenada?

astrobaja - 1-6-2009 at 09:33 AM

Hi

Looking for a place that has reasonable rates (hotels usually charge $80 or more for 40 min to an hour) for a nice therapueutic massage (not the kind where the cops raid the place):tumble:
in the Ensenada area.

I have a great girl that comes to your room . She comes here to the hotel for us. She is fantastic. No hanky panky just a great massage,k:yes:

bajabass - 1-7-2009 at 10:12 AM

three doors up from Anthony's is a cantina named Tequila's. Right next door is a good place for legit massages.

I know of a great one in Mexicali. He is a blind older man and you do not have to tell him where the pain is he finds it everytime and then corrects it. He gets a lot of business and has an assistant that is a female that also has strong hands but he still beats everyone without even seeing. I am looking for the card I have with the name, address, and phone number. It is in a residential area as he moved from a very small house he use to use to a much bigger house business place that makes gettting in and out much better. I also have a general practice doctor I have used for some time as has a number of my co-workers and he will take care of your medical needs, referring to places for tests, referring to specialists that can handle any major health issues and is very easy going person. His name is Dr. Tomaas Enrique Aguilar, Mayoral Medico General cell phone 044-(686)569-7389
address is Mariano Abasolo #899 Street is Rio Culiacan in Mexicali
Easy way to get there is as you enter old port stay to your left and you will go by the border park next to the fence everyone has to drive by going back into USA at old port and just continue straight all the way down, past La Voz newspaper, continuing onward for about three miles or so crossing one large intersection that if you turned left would put you right back on a one way going next to the fence that takes you back to the USA. As you cross that intersection and proceed about two miles you will be passing a school on your right and then two streets past the school is Rio Culiacan where you will turn right. You will then proceed straight about 20 cross streets and you will see it on the right high in the sky a very large blue sign saying Laboratoria (probably spelled wrong but it is where you get blood tests) and the doctors name is attached under the sign as is a denist and a psychologist. The doctor's office is upstairs. Once you drive it you will have no problem finding it again. A lot of guys (Dennis would probably say Fishbuck here and probably would be right) know where Rio Culiacan is because about 10 cross streets or so on Rio Culiacan you go past Club San Diego and it has a small hotel behind it for some reason, so I will leave the rest to your imagination. No to your question Dennis before you ask and my doctor's office is about 14 cross streets further up from that Club. Later, bajafun777

If your looking for a good plastic surgeon a Dr. Rodrigo Ildosola is the best and speaks perfect English. Very nice person and has taken care of a lot of people I know (about 10) that just did not like their bodies or that aging effect that our faces go through or some women wanting that uplifted look or that tighting of the stomach that only situps did in our younger years. I would trust this guy with anyone I know and have had one relative and several friends use him that just rave about him and he gives his cell phone for you to call for questions or concerns anytime day or night. His address is Avenue Reforma #719 which is a large medical building and has secure parking a lot of it. His office is on the 3rd floor and his telephone # is from USA dial o1152 plus (686) 554-0384 or (686) 552-2929 his staff also speaks English. I have been there once or twice with a relative and definately a lot more women going to see him but a number of men getting face and lipo (think that's what it called) to their stomachs. Sorry I cannot say myself on any experience as I am what I am and not even thinking about someone poking or cutting on me. Besides my wife says she loves me just like I am except when I get grumpy sometimes like when I cannot get down South enough.

Now, If someone needs a certain specialist due to major medical concerns or needs Dr. Aguilar will get you the the right one that will be more than capable of taking care of you. Cannot beat the prices as I was paying 3 and 5 times as much in California and my medicine is definately the same times cheaper or more. Mexicali has a 5 star hospital called Alma Matter (think the spelling is right) and our own hospitals in the Valley are a 4 star by the same evaluating national health care group that evaluates all hospitals in USA and Mexico for Insurance Companies. Makes you wonder what we are not doing right here in the Valley, huh.

Will get up and go through my desk to find the massage man information. Have met people in his office all the way from L.A. and even Washington. Keri, before my wife and I go to Ensenda again I will get the name of the girl you use. A good massage person is very hard to find as if they do not know what they are doing they are just moving the oil around your back and you pains are still there. Dennis, I also have a several friends that would agree that Anthony's is the best place to get a massage and yes they had them go to their rooms and yes they had to pay more to get them there, however I doubt that Fishbuck would be interested in the type of massages they give, right:spingrin::rolleyes:?. Finally, I found the massage guy in Mexicali. His name is Ramon Candelas Cruz. He is listed as a Masajista Profesionales. His addres is Larroque #2052 Larroque entre calle L y Justo Sierra in Col.Nueva. His phone number is 552-5926. Again he is blind and older but do not let that fool you, as he is well known in Mexicali and he has brother that also does massages and he is blind too. Later------------------ bajafun777

Hi all,

Thanks for all the leads both in list and U2U. The masseuse at Villa de la Valle in valle de guadalupe is a RARE talent! But because she has to give the hotel a cut its $80. Her name is Bibyana.
Worth it if you are staying in the Valle.

Bajafun777 - 1-8-2009 at 09:05 PM

So, Astrobaja is that the same girl that Keri was talking about and U2U you with her name and how to get in touch with her??? Later--------bajafun777

fishbuck - 1-9-2009 at 03:49 AM

You guys are making me think about my girl in Viscaino.
Last thing she did before I left was give me a very good massage. I almost didn't leave except I needed to be home for Christmas.
She even had toys... er I mean tools! And oil... lots of oil!
But I won't be able to see her again until she starts work in Loreto. I haven't been to Loreto for a while...

astrobaja - 1-9-2009 at 11:03 AM

Bajafun:

No, this is a lady who works through La Villa de Valle only, my Wife and I stayed there one night this summer (very nice, quite $$ and just a little too nose in the air for our tastes). You would have to book through the hotel

Looks like Fishbuck might have to take matters into his own hands.

Go to Erendira at Coyote Cals or check out their website.... http://www.coyotecals.com

Rick's wife is a Thai massage and she operates a fully operation massage business.

You won't be disappointed and she's full pro and super reasonable!

XploreBaja rolls in there with 10 clients and she's massaging for hours working the knots outs.

Third Recommendation!

She apprenticed in Thailand and is a practitioner and instructor of this traditional therapeutic massage.

Outstanding!

another thing not to miss in Ensenada is a pedicure on calle Primera down at the south end by the ice cream shop. The massage chair is heavenly and you can bring a bottle of wine in too. It is way more than just a pedicure...great foot and leg massage and lovely oriental/mexican women smiling as they work.

Here's another vote for Ta, very professional and definitely worth a visit to Coyote Cal's.

jra724 - 10-23-2015 at 06:05 PM

I know Rick's wife - she is great! However Erendia is pretty far outside of town. If you aren't near her, and need good work, consider my work.

I practice therapeutic work (deep tissue, hot rocks, reflexology) in town. Normal pricing is $40 in my office currently for basic work relaxation.

Check my website or drop me a note:

or check trip advisor

There is also a place on Primera, south of the McDonalds north of El Rey Sol, IIRC. On the east side of the street. The place is downstairs, below an art gallery. I've been there a couple of times. The last time, I did two hours. I think it was less than $40 an hour, and very good.

There is also a place on the same side of the street, in a hotel close to El Rey Sol, that I haven't tried.

Edit: Ta is excellent, but she is at Coyote Cal's in Erendira, as mentioned above.

Yes, my friend Dean T runs the one primera. It is pretty good, they have multiple therapists and do facials, more of a spa atmosphere.

Next to El Rey is my Eastern European friend Maria. She is good too, I think 55$ and hour, possibly named Essential Spa.

For my spa flare, I teamed with an esthetician trained in LA (Shawn B) and we do what we call spa days on her Ocean front patio in Sauzal. Couples and small groups come for an hour massage and she does facial; then you switch.

We set up right next to the Ocean, it's pretty darn awesome actually since you are literally listening to the ocean waves. And mostly a service we do through word of mouth; I can arrange pick up for cruise folks too. $45 or each hour as of now.

I really enjoy most of these old threads. Reading them brings back a lot of fun memories with a lot of fun Nomads.

durrelllrobert - 10-24-2015 at 11:00 AM

Hey Bob. Yes I hear Jessie is good. We have a certified therapist up my way in La Mision Kevin McManus that does Myofascial release muscle therapy. And yes, Dennis, you are so right!!:o

dtbushpilot - 10-24-2015 at 11:54 AM

I'd like to know more about the therapist in Viscaino...:lol:

No offense, Jesse, I have never met you but hear that you are great.

Where is Eastern European Maria from exactly? I'm in Latvia today, Lithuania yesterday!
