Some people don't want to go the very short distance off the main highway on a dirt road to get to the really great hotel and restaurant,
Jardines---less than one mile---can still see the highway, but not hear it!
And the dirt roads in San Qunitin like out to the Old Mill can get really bad-----but the road to Jardines will not be allowed to be anything else but
smooth!
Guillermo, the owner says he just will not wait for the delegacion to do any grading.
And this is his wife, Carmen telling us that Guillermo had suggested that she ride on the scraper!
We never leave there as early as intended because we just so enjoy having coffee with Carmen and Guillermo on the patio in the morning.
Jardines, along with Baja Cactus, is one of the best places and values in Baja. The room we like is a double, but since we only use one bed, Carmen
charges us the single rate---380 pesos at the current exchange rate.

Diane,
We heard the road was pretty bad. Too bad we didn't stop to take a look for ourselves. Scraper skiing looks pretty fun!
Thanks for the post.
