The Governors Cup is a wonderful fishing tournament. The one in Bahia Asuncion takes place Aug.15 during our traditional fiestas with registration on
the 14th. It is a fun event that cost 50 pesos to enter and they give you a booty bag with a t-shirt and hat too. Afterwards, the fish are cooked to
feed the village at a big BBQ on the beach with music and awards.

thanks shari....i did the one in juncalito last year had a great time came in 7th out of over 30 boats.just looking for the date's and locations as i
would like to do 3 or 4 of them.its been about 3 years since i'v been to bahia asuncion will put that one on the list

Great tournaments!!! I have fished the La Bocana Governors Cup 3 years in a row and had an awesome time....Hell I even won 1st place this year!!!!
