According to the latest issue of the Discover Baja newsletter, the new Baja Almanac and companion foldout map are imminent! They say the publisher is
working with the printer to have copies available in the Discover Baja office in early 2009. Let's keep our fingers crossed!David K - 1-19-2009 at 06:36 PM
I posted this, last month:

Discover Baja is taking advance orders for the new Almanac... they say 2 months... <<<
[Edited on 2-26-2009 by David K]David K - 2-26-2009 at 08:00 AM
NO GOOD NEWS... Calls to the Almanac's creator (Landon) are not answered or returned.
Discover Baja Travel Club was told the all new Almanac would be ready in January... so to be safe, DBTC told the membership 'February'... and I talked
to them a couple days ago, and still nada.
If anyone can get ahold of Landon Crumton, please tell him "we are standing by to buy his books"!spike - 2-27-2009 at 10:34 AM
But he has changed the picture on his own web-site!

sure! I'll bet NOT.DianaT - 8-27-2009 at 09:25 PM
I am beginning to think that the rumor of a possible new Baja Almanac is one of those urban legends.
The masking tape holding our old one together is beginning to crack and needs to be retired.!Pappy Jon - 8-31-2009 at 07:02 PM
As long as they come out before my next trip in March. The two copies I do have (field copy and house copy) are tattered and coming apart.CaboRon - 8-31-2009 at 07:28 PM

Go0d Job... those are the FIRST Baja Almanacs from about 1998... The next edition (in 2003) had all of Baja in one book and the maps had more colors
for topography.
Before the 'Almanacs', Landon produced 2 editions of the 'Baja Topographic Atlas Directory' (1986 & 1991)... They where HUGE with much more
detail.David K - 9-28-2009 at 04:33 PM
Reading Kats Korner at "the Net" -San Felipe website and she says that the San Felipe Book store now has the NEW Baja Almanac available. Haven't
confirmed with Ed or Cat at the store but maybe it's finally available.
Baja Crawler just started a new thread with the same title as this one... and said he just bought a copy... it is bigger in size than the 2003
edition.
