Mailed my passport, Passport Card Application, 2 photos and a check for $20 on January 9th.
Received my Passport Card and Passport on January 16th
No problemo..............

I had roughly that timeframe last September, after losing my passport just after an August trip to Ensenada. it's all about timing. When the latest
passport requirements were first announce, it caused a flurry of activity that overwhelmed the agency. Now, one can assume, those who needed them, got
them. And with the current economy where it is, travel has been cut back.
