A helicopter dropped something into the water that exploded at about 3:30pm yesterday. This is off the cost of central Rosarito Beach. The blast was
strong enough to be felt on-shore and even blew open a french door we had left ajar.
I can't figure it out. There was a lot going on yesterday in law enforcement though. My nephew thought they were disposing of a bomb because a huge
plume of water went up. I don't know why they would use a million dollar helicpoter to do bomb disposals though. If it was a bomb I would think they
would take it to a canyon or something and tossed it over. I doubt they were fishing Military style- but maybe.
Anyone have any ideas?

I was outside about that time and heard something that sounded like a distant bang. Cristina asked me if it sounded like a gunshot but I said it

oooh. I like that one.
It was a little close to the oil tankers for our comfort though. Not to mention the underwater pipelines. No oil slick on the beach- so no one blew
the pipeline up. Do the narcos have such things as helicopters at their disposal to blow up the oil pipelines if they wanted to do that?

You think they would do something like that near the piplines though? It seemed as if they were in a hurry to dispose of a "hot potato" - just don't
know if they would use an expensive helicopter to do that.
In the states they would use a robotic something. Can you imagine the environmentalists that would scream bloody murder if they let loose an
explosion like that in the ocean stateside? That uber-sonar is bad eough.
