So very sorry for your loss. We have a very close friend fighting the same battle right now, and you are so right, Cancer is a biatch.
Take care

My next wave is yours, Clint!vgabndo - 1-25-2009 at 01:58 PM
Sorry Woody. EMPATHY rings from this quarter. My kid brother is terminal with the same cancer I just beat. I'm reminded that birth is a death
sentence; I hope that Clint had a very rich life in between.
Rest in peace Clint

...sure hope the 'weather gods' were kind to all of you yesterday out there on the ripples...gnarly, indeed.
What a fitting 'send off' for your buddy...one can't help but feel a tear forming when reading 'Clint's Wish'...as a fellow cancer survivor (for now),
wish I could have been there to watch the sunset with you guys...it appears Clint was honered to have you for a loyal and loving friend...
Celebrate life with those around you...it's too damn short!

I'm sorry to hear about your loss Woody. I find these posts the hardest to write.
I can feel your loss. I had real good man die of prostate cancer recently and he went so fast all of us were in shock. He was a rare individual. There
are just things in life that make no sense. As much as we cling to it with everything we have. Just as easily it can be taken away.David K - 1-26-2009 at 10:55 AM
How grand to give him his final wish... a real friend!
