howdy gang. has there ever been an thread on here dedicated to people posting their favorite and trustworthy mechanics throughout baja? I know I would
certainly print out such a list and take it with me never knowing what lies ahead and any referral-especially from this well informed crowd-would be
better than just asking around. If there is not such a thread, how about one now??

Bar none, my favorite is Enrique in La Ribera...when i blew the engine in my cherokee there a few years ago, he rebuilt it balanced on two saw horses
outside of the shop in the sand...i thought, "How long is this baby gonna last?"...still runnin' strong today...he can do anything and always a smile
on his face

Willy hosts massive 4WD events each year under his Baja Crawlers club, he did my rear disc brakes (resurfaced the discs, new brake pads) for $90 last
month!! I couldn't have been happier with the service. I saved hundreds by traveling down to Tijuana versus getting the Jeep worked on here in
Riverside, CA.

San Lucas (Ejido) - Francisco, not only a superb outboard mechanic but can do great work on vehicles as well. His phone number (615) 160-1031
Constitution - For brake work. Definitely FrenoMex, about 4 blocks west of the highway at north end of town. Turned both rotors, back drums,
complete brake shoe and pad replacement, cost $120 US. My second time with them on two different vehicles.
