No, I'm afraid not. Haven't heard anything more about it, either...

Folks I just finished dealing with Medicare. If you deal with a hospital like Scripps you will find that there is a great difference if you pay cash
or let Medicare pay. Were talking 30% or more! Thats in the states in San Diego. Its a b-tch but it can be dealt with.
I recently saw Medicare billed $5400 and I was billed a deductible of $1220. I just found out if I would have paid cash it would have been $1800 and
that was without haggling.
Wake up, medical care and in major institutions like UCSD or if your a vet, the VA in SD is rated at the top.
If you have a question re: medical care in TJ or other border cities do some real research. They will take cash and it could be the same if you pay
cash in the states. I am an X medico in the US and love me life in Baja, but all medical and dental is done by the best in the states.
There are no short cuts or bargains. I have friends in Baja who trust their health to the professionals here and I must say I have never seen some
many loss, floppy dentures and unneeded pacemakers.
