Haven't stayed there but have eaten at the restaurant many times. The restaurant used to be outstanding, perhaps the best in La Paz, but I don't

It's out of town a few miles on the road to Pichilingue but not quite as far as La Concha. Don't know their prices.

We stayed there a few years ago and we liked it. The rates were reasonable, though I don't remember what they were--certainly well under $100. Nice
rooms, though the A/C was a bit weak for mid-July (I was thankful for anything the A/C could provide).
The pool was good, the grounds nicely tended, and there was a very friendly bartender in a cabana just off the pool. It is a fair walk to anything
you'd want to see in downtown, but taxis are common.

They have a membership program where you pay in advance and save about half the normal rates. Since I seldom get to La Paz now but they allow me to
let my friends to use the membership. It really helps a lot. I recommend my friends use a taxi and if they like the driver get his cell phone number
and use him. You can ask the person at the desk to get you a driver that speaks some English. They're really great tour guides and can take you to
some really fine places to eat, drink & shop. The restaurant was open at 7am with really great coffee when I was there last and the food was
great. Carlos at the front desk has been extremely helpful as have the others. I love La Paz but am not much of a shopper so I don't visit as much as
I did. Oh! The reason I recommend a taxi. Like all cites the locals have their own way of driving so it's safer having a driver. Lots of one way
streets and not a lot of signage for street names. Parking can be tough sometimes too. Have a fun time in La Paz and let us know of any special place
you see.

Thanks Russ We will have a rental, I drove around there for 5 days and can say they are the worst drivers I've seen. A stop sign is just a suggestion
you slow alittle and look to the side. Don't ever stop for a pedestrian, there will cuss you out, flip you off, and honk, I didn't care I always

We stayed there a few years ago also and liked it. We had a very nice spacious room and large bathroom also. If I remember correctly the price at
the time was around $55 or $60 US. Beautiful grounds and pool. Only negatives are the sales pitch for the membership club and the fact that we paid
in pesos and they did us no favors on the exchange rate. I would be sure to have enough dollars with me to pay in dollars since that's what they seem
to prefer.
