The motor home that pulled up to the downtown border crossing in Calexico about 1 a.m. Monday was a bit overloaded. A drug dog from U.S. Customs and Border Protection confirmed as much.

When CBP officers tore open the roof of the 2001 Ford Tioga, they found 168 tightly wrapped packets of marijuana. In all, the load weighed in at 2,109 pounds and was valued by CBP at nearly $1.3 million, according to John Campos, director of the Calexico port of entry.

The driver, a Calexico man identified only as a 48-year-old U.S. citizen, was arrested, Campos said. He was the vehicle's sole occupant.

Well, since pot is legal in California that is totally retared. But it was probably going somewhere else eventually.

Yeah, what a goof ball - storing it in the roof. Everyone knows you should store it in water-tight containers in the black water holding tank surrounded by sewage. The dogs would never alert and who in their right mind would check your full holding tank...

...oops, did I say that out loud? :wow:
