What's Up With the Four Lane to CSL ?

CaboRon - 2-3-2009 at 07:49 PM

While construction on the four lane from La Paz to Todos Santos is moveing right along ....

The same cannot be said for the Todos Santos to Cabo San Lucas leg of the project.

While returning from CSL on Sunday I noticed that just a few clicks north of CCC the construction completely stops and there is no activity or equipment in sight.

What happened :?:

Why has construction stopped :?:

Do any of you know :?:

The LAP - TS part definatly seems to be going much better than the CSL - TS part but it did look like they were clearing some dirt for more lanes just south of TS.

When there's a four lane all the way between La Paz and San Lucas, the real loser will be the small town ambience of Todos Santos. Obviously, the highway is being built for commercial trucking. Just wonder if they can bypass the town of TS.

I do agree. And I believe how it will impact La Paz as well.

They are making a cargo bypass that breaks off the hwy north of town and will completely bypass Todos Santos.
