Other than the marine radio, does anyone have information on how to reach Dr Lopez in the campos south of San Felipe?
This isn't an emergency, I'm just wondering.
Does he monitor a certain radio frequency or is there a phone number where he can be reached?

Hey Melanie, that is a very good question and good info for us South Campo types.
Rob is pretty connected with the Community Center and serves on the board so he's your guy...

Dr Pepe now works at the clinic near El Dorado Ranch during the week. He is usually at the South Campos Clinic on the week ends. Chelo is a good nurse
and can perform minor procedures such as sutures. The family monitors VHF channel 69 andtheir phone # is 686-111-4408.N2Baja - 2-20-2009 at 02:43 PM
Thank you, BajaRob, I didn't realize that the doctor was out of the clinic during the week (I haven't stepped on any sharp objects lately! knock on
wood!!)
I was asking this question for some friends who ride motorcycles through the area occasionally. They use '2-meter radios' and were wondering if they
could contact the doctor with them.
I don't even know what a 2-meter radio is, so thought this would be a good place to ask. Any thoughts?
Thank you for the phone number!!
p.s. I'm sorry I didn't get to see you at Chuck's this past weekend; I ended up having to 'babysit' some houseguests. Chuck knows what I mean. nyuk
