shari - 2-24-2009 at 07:50 PM

Leo - 2-24-2009 at 07:53 PM

BajaGeoff - 2-24-2009 at 10:21 PM

Great photo Woody. I just drooled on my laptop.

Russ - 2-25-2009 at 07:55 AM

I put shorts on and worked out side until the wind got above 15mph. Opened doors and windows and will get the screens out soon. Lots of bugs out and the bats are leaving me there presents. Sure feels good. Hope it lasts a couple more days before March hits.

vandenberg - 2-25-2009 at 08:16 AM

Weatherunderground shows La Paz in the mid to high 90's for the rest of the week.
Talk about an early summer. A/C time already.:?::?:

shari - 2-25-2009 at 08:19 AM

I've only had to put socks on a few times this whole winter...yup, back to shorts and tank tops this week..woo hooo...had to look for the summer light blanket last night it was so warm. I wonder what March will bring...snow?

David K - 2-25-2009 at 08:24 AM

I wish it was that warm (and dry) up here in San Diego! We are about 2" over normal rainfall so far this season, and it is cloudy and cold again this morning!

My house heater has never run so much, as this winter... way colder than previous years... Some global warming would be a good thing here!:light:

shari - 2-25-2009 at 08:30 AM

hey all you gulf folks....is it blowing northerlies over there? On the weather sites it was supposed to blow all week 20-30 all day and night and over here on the pacific it's well...pacifico so I wondered if it's blowing over there...often if it is lovely and calm here it is because the wind is sucked over to the gulf side.

shari - 2-25-2009 at 08:34 AM

temps are predicted high but so are the winds...we use a surf site that is usually bang on and bouyweather..all show wind.

It's been blowing about that for the last week except one day. This is over in the Guaymas area. All northerlies.

We've had 3 straight weeks of rain here in the SF bay area with more rain scheduled all next week.

It's just so unfair!

comitan - 2-25-2009 at 02:33 PM

Sorry for you people in La Paz, its 84 here in Comitan now probably will hit 87, and yes you people in the northern climes I really feel for you.:biggrin:

Socks Off!

fixtrauma - 2-25-2009 at 07:01 PM

Even though I am in Lebanon, Oregon I am going to take my socks off for the La Paz weather! Whoo Hoo!

Hook - 2-25-2009 at 07:36 PM

Dear Al,

Still a beautiful 80 degrees at 7:30. Candles and sake and spring rolls on the porch.

All is forgiven. Bring on the warming.

Leo - 2-25-2009 at 08:11 PM

Boy this was another hotty for Feb.
The warmest Feb on record for some time now.
I don't need the snow flurries forcasted on Vancouver Island, but this isn't easy to take for a Canuck either

Kate,
Just yoshing you. Substituted La Paz for Constitution.
But like you state, still doesn't make much sense. 99 degrees now, with a predicted high of 87.
And Constitution not likely hotter then Loreto or La Paz.
But, nevertheless, it's like summer here.
Will be in La Paz tomorrow, so please cool it down a bit.

AcuDoc - 2-25-2009 at 10:13 PM

We have had maybe 2.5 weeks of winter here since mid-December. It seems like April all winter and I'm in a ski resort. Very little snow and most days are in the balmy mid 40's. Most of the south facing slopes have been down to dirt for well over a month now.

summer, what's that!?

nancyinpdx - 2-26-2009 at 04:07 AM

Wow!!! I'm jealous!

I just went outside and there's snow on the ground here in Portland, Oregon! It's coming down fast and sticking! I was out there less than 2 hours ago and there was none. It's pretty but I want winter to go away. This is Portland's snowiest winter ever recorded.

mulegemichael - 2-26-2009 at 07:39 AM

..it's in the mid eighties here for days now with little viento..supposed to stay warm but will start blowing tomorrow...not so bad; in sequim, wa. they got 4" of snow last night...hah!

Bajagypsy - 2-26-2009 at 07:50 AM

You all do not know what REAL winter is. Today it is -34 with the windchill it is -43! Yup I'm at work and the kids are at school, just another sunny day in Canada!

David K - 2-26-2009 at 08:03 AM

The Great White North!

Good day, eh?

BajaNuts - 2-26-2009 at 10:30 PM

We woke up to snow blowing sideways and had to go to work.............outside! Technically it was inside... I mean there were walls and a roof but no doors/windows and a howling wind blowing.

'Gypsy has the temp record for the day, but are ya working inside or out? We had 20F inside the house we are working on.

and each day working in freezingbutt temps puts a few more coins in the coffers so one day we may choose to work or play.......

Bajagypsy - 2-27-2009 at 03:29 PM

BajaNuts, I do work inside, my family would starve otherwise:biggrin:

Diver - 2-27-2009 at 04:02 PM

You want to know where winter went; I'll show you where it's been
and what it looks like !!
