Has anyone ever used JL Management and Services on Anza Rd. near Calexico. We found them online and were told they charge only $2.00 a day to park
there. I am meeting my son at the border and we only want to take one car down to San Felipe. Thr price is right but wondering if anyone has had a
problem or a good experience.

I've parked my car on the street in Calexico for several days, several times, no problem. Locals told me the city is safe from car theft.

Friends used to park at the Calexico City Hall when they wanted to leave a car in Calexico.

Don't they have parking time limits on streets or at City Hall?

The streets with time limits in Calexico are clearly marked by signs. The side streets in front of City Hall are not time limit nor are side streets
off from clearly marked signs downtown or with coin machine 2 hour maximum. Just a suggestion here, why not park your vehicle at WalMart in Calexico
and come back for it later. I know people that have done this without a problem just like the people do with their motorhomes. It appears your only
going down for a few days so it would not be a problem. The only problem that friends have had in Calexico where some people had their converters to
their mufflers stolen. The places you park your cars are not much better even if you pay, if you are going to be victimized it doesn't really matter
what you do unless you watch it personally. My recommendation would be WalMart as it is 24 hours and park it where the motorhomes park as seniors are
good watchers. There are numerous shuttles constantly back and forth from border to WalMart also. If it was me I would probably park my car at WalMart
or on side street right in front of City Hall as close to the corner as possible, as cops drive up and down in front of City Hall and San Diego State
Calexico Campus since their police station is right there also. Most cities in the County that have enforcement issues on how long you can park go
with a 3 day and then with warning put on car you have 2 more days to move it. El Centro is the main ticket to move it and most other cities hit and
miss as no staff to enforce it especially right now. Later-------------------------- bajafun777
