we're thinking of hiring James Connolly, who advertises his boat-transport service on craigslist/baja, to bring a boat down into the Baja. has anyone
used his services before? feedback?

You don'tsay from where to where. There are really good guys with experience. Ask around any Marina.

Talked to him but never used him. I used the other guy on CL, http://bajasur.en.craigslist.com.mx/boa/1051444881.html
My boat is the one attached to the white van. Pretty reasonable and reliable. I know Jim helped him along the way when problems developed with the
trailer.
Trailer transport or Delivery Captain

Are you considering transporting a trailered boat
OR
a boat delivery by a skipper?
I don't know James Connoly, but if that doesn't work out for any reason (scheduling, costs, etc.), I have a friend (Chris) who is a licensed captain ~
in fact he is also a licensed instructor who helps others botain their captains license (OUPV through 100 T and beyond).
When Chris is not teaching, he is generally doing boat deliveries. He is a good man. Says what he means, means what he says, DOES what he says.
